Juba - South Sudan: President Salva Kiir has re-appoints Dr. James Wani Igga as Vice President replacing the sacked Benjamin Bol Mel.
The announcement was read on the state owned television SSBC on Monday. In the same decree the president reappointed Dr. James Wani Igga first deputy Chairman of SPLM party.
In another decree, minister Michael Makuei was relieved as minister for Ministry of Information and appointed minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs replacing Joseph Geng Akech who was relieved.
Replacing Michael Makuie in the ministry of information docket is the former presidential press secretary Ateny Wek Ateny.
On the other hand, President Kiir appointed former SPLM Secretary General Peter Lam Both as new minister of Roads and Bridges replacing Mijok Mijak.
The President also relived Josephine Napon as the minister of Environment and appointed Mabior Garang Mabior, as the new minister.
In another decree President Kiir sacked Rabi Mujung Emmanuel the governor of Central Equatoria and reappointed Emmanuel Adil in his place.
In the interior docket, President Kiir sacked inspector general of Policce Abraham Manyuat and replaced him with Chawul Lom and the new inspector general of Police.
Since returning from his United Arab Emirates trip president Salva Kiir has made numerous changes in the government including the sacking of Benjamin Bol Mel as vice President last week.
