Cultural leaders, youth groups, and women’s associations will take part in discussions aimed at strengthening relationships among communities and promoting peaceful coexistence. Organizers stress that cultural festivals like this play a crucial role in enhancing mutual respect, reducing tensions, and celebrating the diversity that holds South Sudan together.

According to the organizing committee, this year’s edition places special focus on unity, dialogue, and the power of culture to bridge divides. “The Mundari Cultural Festival is more than entertainment it is a space for communities to come together, celebrate who they are, and reaffirm the values of peace and togetherness that our nation needs,” the committee noted.

In addition to cultural showcases, the festival will feature exhibitions by local artisans, traditional cuisines, storytelling tents, and performances by invited cultural troupes from neighboring regions. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the Mundari’s pastoral lifestyle, the role of cattle in their social fabric, and the significance of traditional rituals that have been preserved for generations.
