SOUTH SUDAN U-17 KICK OFF TRAINING AFTER MRI TEST

Juba South Sudan: The South Sudan Under-17 national football team officially kicked off their training sessions today in Juba, following the completion of mandatory MRI tests conducted earlier this week.

The MRI scans, carried out at Juba Complex Hospital , were part of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) regulations to verify players’ eligibility and ensure their health and safety ahead of upcoming regional competitions.

Coach and technical staff expressed satisfaction with the players’ commitment and readiness as they began intensive preparations for the upcoming CECAFA U-17 Championship. The team’s training will focus on improving physical fitness, tactical awareness, and team coordination.

Officials from the South Sudan Football Federation (SSFF) reaffirmed their support for the young players, emphasizing the importance of discipline and teamwork as key ingredients for success.

The U-17 squad represents the future of South Sudanese football, and their early preparations signal the nation’s growing ambition to make a mark in regional and continental youth competitions.
